In these applications, it is important to recognize the benefits offered through local historical data and time-stamped alarm storage and reporting: a unique capability available in all ControlWave PLC’s and RTU’s.

Integrated SCADA Security

By integrating system security features into ControlWave, the system is able to automatically react to security conditions such as intrusion or motion, as well as process conditions such as abnormal flows or chemical dosing and perform control actions. Such action can activate emergency shutdown of processes, start or stop pumps, open or close valves, etc. In addition, ControlWave can even store video camera images in flash memory for event archiving.
