ControlWave CPU and Communications Redundancy systems utilize dual CPU’s and Power Supplies. The system provides for automatic monitoring of Primary and Hot Standby CPU’s. Failures are detected automatically and trigger an automatic switchover form the Primary CPU to Hot Standby CPU. All communications channels are automatically switched. Data, alarms, and historical information are also automatically transferred. The switchover and data transfer is fast and bumpless, thereby insuring that there is no interruption in the process control.
